I sm looking for financial assistance in the province of Nova Scotia. I am curteny on CPD and am having difficulties staying afloat. I have reached out to my MLA, Premier and MP but no one has any suggestions. Any advice would be useful.
You might want to try local charities in your area that aren't just for people with disabilities. You could also go on your provincial and municipal government websites and see if they have special covid-19 assistance. For example, on my city's website I found that they were offering assistance for pet owners (but not the disabled of course!) I applied and got a pet food voucher for almost $200. I just had to provide my tax assessment to prove my income. The money I saved on pet supplies went towards groceries.
