The Honourable Carla Qualtrough, Minister of Employment, Workforce Development and Disability Inclusion issued a statement announcing the need to work more closely with the disability community as we navigate through the challenges of Covid-19.
To help her address these issues and determine a plan of action, she has set up a disability advisory group.
We will monitor what actions The Minister will put forth.
As of April 16, there are none, and the Prime Minister has not made any disability-specific announcements in his daily Covid-19 media conferences addressing all Canadians.
